Star Tech European is an independent automotive repair shop based in Vacaville, California. This policy explains how we handle information you give us through this website or while we work on your vehicle.
Information we collect
- Information you submit through forms on this site: name, phone, email, vehicle details, and a description of the service you need.
- Service records: your vehicle's service history, parts installed, work performed, and related paperwork — kept so we can do the right job next time you visit.
- Server logs auto-generated when you visit the site: IP address, browser, pages, timestamps. Used for security and uptime.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule service.
- To bill you, source parts for your vehicle, and document the work performed.
- To keep records required by California consumer-repair regulations.
- To send you occasional service reminders (only if you ask us to).
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't share it with third parties for marketing.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Who has access
Your information is accessed only by Star Tech European staff for the purpose of servicing your vehicle, billing, and responding to your inquiries. We may share information when required by law (e.g. a subpoena) or as needed to defend against a legal claim.
Retention
Service records are kept for as long as you're a customer plus the period required by California law. Form submissions that don't lead to service are deleted within 12 months. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights (California)
You have the right to know what information we have about you, to request deletion, and to request correction. Email service@startecheuropean.com with your request and we'll respond within 45 days.
